Mt. Inasa is one of the most popular landmarks in Nagasaki City. Once designated as a restricted military fortress area before the war, it is now a scenic spot that is popular with many people inside and outside the prefecture.

▲The observatory offers a stunning view during the day as well as the night. The multi-purpose hall on the 1st floor, with its vaulted ceiling, provides a great sense of openness while indoors.

Mt. Inasa is one of Nagasaki’s main landmarks. In 2021, Mt. Inasa’s spectacular view was re-selected as one of the “New Three Great Night Views of the World”, along with Shanghai and Monaco. To get to the Mt. Inasa Observatory, take the Slope Car designed by world-renowned Ken Okuyama Design, or the Ropeway.
