History and heritage onboard with a gorgeous sunset and an ocean breeze.
| Historical Story |
The Kanko Maru, gifted by the Netherlands, was a training vessel of the Edo Shogunate Navy. Each clan sent their best people to Nagasaki to learn about ship maneuvering techniques. It has been faithfully restored to its original condition, based on models and blueprints. The same materials are used in the interior and on the deck, giving her a unique style.
▲Ride a faithfully restored ship, get close to the World Heritage listing, and stunning sunset views of Nagasaki Port, known as the “Port of the Crane”. A truly unique experience impossible to find anywhere else.
Cruising on the Shin Kanko Maru brings you close to the World Cultural Heritage listings by ship. Once docked at Nagasaki port, meetings and parties can be held on board. The sunset cruise in the evening is especially recommended, as the crimson skies will make your experience truly unforgettable.
